Ingredients
  1. (for the dough)
  2. 150ml milk
  3. 75g butter
  4. 1,5 teaspoon yeast-powder
  5. 4 tablespoons sugar
  6. 400g flour
  7. * * *
  8. (for the filling)
  9. 4-5 apples
  10. 4 tablespoons sugar
  11. 30g butter
  12. Cinnamon (optional)
  13. * * *
  14. (for the glaze)
  15. 1 egg yolk
  16. 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
  2. Heat up milk, add yeast and sugar. Mix well and leave for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Beat in eggs, add melted butter and the yeast mixture.
  4. Stir in flour and form a ball. Leave the dough in a warm place for 40 minutes.
Meanwhile, let’s prepare the apple filling:
  1. Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes.
  2. Heat butter in a pan and add the apple cubes.
  3. Cook for 3 minutes, then add sugar and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. You can also add a little bit of cinnamon.
  5. Roll 2/3 of the dough and place it in a baking tin.
  6. Fill with apples and cover with a lattice pie crust.
  7. Mix yolk with milk and pour the mixture over the crust.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes, until the crust is brown.
