Apple pie with almonds
Delicious and very unusual apple pie with very little batter and lots of apples! Crunchy crust with flaked almonds makes this pie absolutely irresistable..

  1. 90ml milk
  2. 150g sugar
  3. 60g flour
  4. 50g flaked almonds
  5. 15g baking powder
  6. 4-5 apples
  7. 3 eggs
  8. 3 tablespoons melted butter
  9. 2 tablespoons oil
  10. 1 tablespoon liquor or rum
  1. Preheat oven to 200C.
  2. Mix 60g flour with 70g sugar and baking powder.
  3. Stir in 2 eggs.
  4. Add milk, oil and liquor (or rum).
  5. Peel apples and cut them into thin slices.
  6. Pour the batter into apples and mix carefully so the slices are covered in the batter.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  1. Whip 1 egg with 80g sugar into foam, and add melted butter.
  2. Pour the mixture onto the crust, sprinkle with almonds and sugar.
  3. Bake for additional 10-15 minutes.
